Helen Jermy
Musculoskeletal PhysiotherapistI am a highly experienced “hands on” physiotherapist with 30 years experience treating a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions and ages.
I graduated from Brighton University in 1994 with a BSc Honours degree in physiotherapy, initially gaining experience in the NHS in musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, respiratory, neurological physiotherapy before specialising in musculoskeletal problems and sports injuries.
After working in the UK and New Zealand in both NHS and private practice, I completed my advanced practitioner MMACP qualification in 2003, a recognised standard of clinical excellence in musculoskeleletal physiotherapy and have worked in private practice for the last 25 years.
I have extensive postgraduate education including pilates training with the APPI, and use of acupuncture for pain relief and most recently pilates reformer training has provided me with clinical skills and expertise across a broad range of conditions including spinal, upper and lower limb pain, sports injuries & running injuries, and pelvic girdle problems.
I enjoy working with people of all ages & all walks of life to reach their individual goals whether returning to work, sport or general activity.
In my spare time, when not attending athletics events with my son, I enjoy yoga, mountain biking, functional strength training, watersports and generally keeping active.
